Glasgow Rangers are currently in Portugal ahead of Steven Gerrard’s second season at Ibrox and the club is keeping the Bears up to date on Twitter.
A number of Glasgow Rangers fans have taken to Twitter expressing their hopes of seeing Borna Barisic have a fruitful season at Ibrox next term.
The Croatia international signed for Gers for a reported £2million fee (The Scotsman) last summer but dropped in and out of the side, making just 22 Light Blues appearances in all competitions (Transfermarkt).
During the 2018-19 campaign, Rangers manager Steven Gerrard picked a number of other players ahead of Barisic in his position, such as the right-footed Jon Flanagan, midfielder Andy Halliday, and even Lee Wallace.
The 26-year-old is currently with the Light Blues on their pre-season training camp in Portugal and the club has been keeping the Bears up to date by posting training clips on their Twitter account.
One of those saw Barisic making a run, picking up a ball on the overlap and deliver a cross from the byline which Greg Stewart headed home:
