Rangers advanced in the Scottish Cup this afternoon as they beat bitter rivals Celtic 2-0 at Ibrox.

The Gers took an early lead through Steven Davis, with his acrobatic effort putting Rangers inside the first 10 minutes.

Great work from Joe Aribo created the second, with his cross turned in by Celtic defender Jonjoe Kenny for an unfortunate own goal.

Celtic couldn’t get themselves back into the game, and Rangers coasted to another win over the Bhoys – their third of the season.

Rangers head into the quarter-finals, and on the day that Leeds United were again linked with Ryan Kent, the winger turned in a superb display.

Kent was a constant menace to the Celtic defence, and was unlucky not to grab the second goal as Kenny beat him to the cross.

Rangers fans have been taking to Twitter to rave about Kent, suggesting that he haunts Celtic’s nightmares and ‘absolutely ruins’ them every time he plays against them.

Others think Kent has Celtic on strings as he causes their players to panic constantly, adding that he is ‘immense’.
