Rangers fans on social networking site Twitter have stated that manager Graeme Murty should have brought on Jason Cummings against Celtic sooner than he did.

Cummings, on loan at Rangers from Nottingham Forest at the moment, did not start the Old Firm derby against Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon.

The Scotland international striker came on as a substitute in the 74th minute in place of Queens Park Rangers-owned midfielder Sean Goss.

Despite taking the lead twice and Celtic finishing the game with 10 men, Rangers lost the Scottish Premiership game 3-2 at Ibrox.

The defeat means that Celtic are now as many as nine points clear of Rangers with a game in hand, and seem to have pretty much sewn up the league title this season.

Rangers fans have criticised manager Murty for not bring on former Hibernian striker Cummings when Celtic went down to 10 men in the 57th minute due to the dismissal of defender Jozo Simunovic.
