Lee Wallace has defended Rangers striker Kenny Miller as the reported dispute with manager Pedro Caixinha continues.

Pedro Caixinha has attempted to put a stop to the spiralling reports of a division between himself and Rangers striker Kenny Miller – namely, by refusing to answer questions about an increasingly unseemly situation at his press conferences.
The Daily Record reported last month that Caixinha had accused Rangers’ homegrown players of failing to make the new imports feel welcome. And Miller had also angered his boss by taking the armband from Graham Dorrans when coming off the bench in the Old Firm derby in September.

Miller has since been dropped for league clashes with Hamilton and St Johnstone as doubts continue to swirl about the long-serving striker’s future at Ibrox. And the 37-year-old’s agent, Dave Baldwin, did not exactly soothe a tense situation, accusing the club of ‘embarrassing’ the striker, per the Scottish Sun.
And Rangers skipper Lee Wallace is the latest to wade into the debate. And while making no mention of Caixinha, it is fairly clear what side Miller’s long-standing team-mate looks to be on.
“I’ve not said much on this and obviously I’ve got to make sure I’m really professional,” Wallace, who has lost the armband to Bruno Alves in his injury-enforced absence- said in quotes reported by the Scottish Sun.

“But speaking of my friend and of a teammate, I can’t speak highly enough of what he’s done for my career, the amount of learning I’ve done off a top professional, a real Rangers man.”
Rangers fans, however, appear to be united in one decision. That Wallace should keep his nose firmly out of the issue.
