Rangers already have a midfielder on his way to Ibrox this summer, but another one is being linked.
The Gers have agreed a pre-contract agreement with Bournemouth midfielder Nnamdi Ofoborh, and he will join Rangers this summer.
With Steven Davis, Scott Arfield, Glen Kamara, Joe Aribo and Ryan Jack also in the mix, few would really suggest that another midfielder is a priority.
However, The Scottish Sun claim that Rangers want to sign Aberdeen midfielder Lewis Ferguson at the end of the season.
It’s stated that Watford want Ferguson, but Rangers are in the race too; no great shock given that Ferguson’s father and uncle both players for the Gers.
Ferguson started his career at Rangers before being released back in 2013, and the 21-year-old has rebounded with Hamilton Academical and now Aberdeen.

Aberdeen have tonight confirmed that they have rejected a transfer request from Ferguson as he looks to get a move away from Pittodrie.
Rangers fans have been taking to Twitter to react, suggesting that Ferguson is definitely good enough for the Gers and could be a match made in heaven with Steven Gerrard’s coaching staff.
Others don’t think Ferguson would get a kick at Rangers as he is ‘bang average’, and wouldn’t pay more than £2million for him.
