Glasgow Rangers go into the international break off the back of two consecutive defeats at Ibrox.

Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to slam Bruno Alves’ performance during the Gers’ defeat to Kilmarnock on Saturday, and many fans now believe that the Portuguese should never play for the club again after his display.
Graeme Murty would have been hoping to see a reaction from his men after they were beaten in a pulsating Old Firm game that threatened to be the day that the Gers sent a real message to their rivals last weekend. However, they would end up on the losing side and suffer another disappointing loss at Ibrox this week.

Kris Boyd struck nine minutes into the second-half to leave Rangers going into the international break just two points clear of Aberdeen in third having played a game more than Derek McInnes’ men.
There were a number of hugely disappointing performances across the pitch, and one of the worst seemed to come from Alves in the fans’ eyes.

The Portuguese’s form this season has predominantly been disappointing as he has struggled for consistency and has rarely shown the qualities of an international defender who is closing in on a century of caps for his country.
And after the defeat to Killie on Saturday, there have been several Rangers fans who have requested that Alves never plays for the club again following his latest disappointing appearance.
