Rangers fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the training ground bust-up involving Joey Barton.

The Scottish Sun reported on Thursday that the former Newcastle United midfielder was involved in an alternation with one of his Rangers teammates this week.

It has been reported that Barton was involved in a training ground bust-up with Rangers teammate Andy Halliday on Tuesday.

The duo were involved in a heated verbal exchange, according to The Scottish Sun.

Rangers manager Warburton reportedly took action on Tuesday, sending Barton away from the training ground and instructing him not to return to the club until Monday.

Barton, who joined the Gers in the summer transfer window after leaving Burnley at the end of last season, himself has acknowledged the training ground bust-up.

On Thursday evening, the 34-year-old English midfielder posted the following message on Twitter:
