The Glasgow Rangers midfielder hasn’t made Steve Clarke’s first Scotland squad – in fact, no player from Ibrox has been selected.
Glasgow Rangers ace Ryan Jack has missed out on a place in Steve Clarke’s first Scotland squad and quite a few Ibrox faithful are not impressed with their ace’s omission.
The 27-year-old Rangers midfielder has impressed for Steven Gerrard’s side in 2018-19, making 46 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals and notching up five assists (Transfermarkt).
Jack has won two caps for Scotland so far, both in friendlies, against the Netherlands and Belgium in 2017 and 2018 respectively, and following his fruitful campaign in the season just gone, it was hoped he could add to his tally this summer.
However, new national team boss Clarke – who has not exactly seen eye to eye with the Ibrox club whilst in charge of Kilmarnock – has not included a single Gers player for the country’s upcoming Euro 2020 qualifying matches with Cyprus and Belgium.

Clarke has named five uncapped players in his first squad, with Kilmarnock defenders Stuart Findlay, Greg Taylor and forward Eamonn Brophy selected, while Livingston goalkeeper Liam Kelly and Aberdeen defender Michael Devlin could also win their first caps.
