Rangers fans plead with Oli McBurnie to join Steven Gerrard rebuild at Ibrox.

After a terrific end to the season on loan and winning his first international cap, Scottish striker Oli McBurnie can’t wait to get restarted.
The question is where. Could it be at Rangers?

McBurnie is a Rangers supporter and frequently comments on the club’s activity on social media.
This time it was the turn of Gers fans to message him, yesterday pleading with the 22-year-old to join Steven Gerrard’s rebuild at Ibrox.
Rangers have been busy in the transfer market this summer but as yet, no strikers have been signed, and loanee Jason Cummings appears to be heading back to Nottingham Forest.

McBurnie’s future is complicated due to Swansea’s relegation, they know the striker is proven in the Championship after his spell with Barnsley and may need him, despite knowing he could leave on a free transfer next summer when his contract expires.
It is up to Rangers to make Swansea an offer they can’t refuse.
Here is a look at how Rangers fans responded to McBurnie’s message…
