Rangers fans on Twitter have called on Jordan Jones to join them this summer.

The Kilmarnock winger has enjoyed an excellent Scottish Premiership season under Steve Clarke, netting four goals and setting up another four in 28 league outings.

In January, Rangers tried to sign the Northern Ireland international but a £350,000 bid [BBC Sport] was immediately denied by Killie, with Clarke taking a swipe at then-Gers boss Graeme Murty for the perceived derisory bid.

The Scotsman has since reported that Jones is worth around £1 million, and fans of the Ibrox club are keen to see their side renew an interest in the 23-year-old this summer.

Jones is a fine talent and although his numbers don’t equate to that this past season, he has the potential to get a lot better in perhaps a stronger team.

Rangers, now under Steven Gerrard, will surely improve a great deal over the summer months and the Northern Irishman could benefit significantly by playing with superior players.
