Glasgow Rangers forward Joe Dodoo was recognised for his form in November, and received plenty of plaudits from the Ibrox faithful.

A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to praise Joe Dodoo after he reacted on social media to winning Player of the Month and Goal of the Month awards for November.

Dodoo is starting to show exactly why the Gers decided to sign him in the first place. He endured a slow start after joining Blackpool in the summer, scoring one goal up until the end of October.

But something clearly clicked last month as he scored four goals, including a brace in the Checkatrade Trophy victory over Accrington Stanley midway through November.

That game saw Dodoo – who has scored five goals for Rangers in all competitions – find the back of the net with a stunning overhead kick. And that strike has been named the club’s best goal in the month.

And after Dodoo was named Pool’s best player for November, he took to Twitter to express his delight at winning the awards.

In response, several of the Ibrox faithful have suggested that he is surely doing enough to earn another chance with the Gers when he returns.

Some feel that he did not get enough of an opportunity before he started being loaned out, and believe that he could make a contribution to Steven Gerrard’s side upon his return if he continues to impress during the rest of his loan spell.
