Rangers fans have responded to James Tavernier’s latest post on social networking site Twitter following the win against Heart of Midlothian at Ibrox this past weekend.
Steven Gerrard’s Rangers got the better of Hearts 3-1 at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
The 26-year-old right-back – who has been on the books of the Gers since the summer of 2015 when he moved from Wigan Athletic for a transfer fee reported by The Scottish Sun to be worth £200,000 – started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, and his performance impressed the Rangers fans.
Rangers fans have also urged Tavernier not to leave the Gers in the January transfer window.
According to The Daily Mail, Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League in England are interested in signing the former Newcastle United right-back in the January transfer window.
It has been reported that Brighton sent scouts to watch the 26-year-old in action for Rangers against Rapid Vienna at Ibrox in the Europa League last week.
