Several Glasgow Rangers fans want Greg Docherty back at Ibrox in January as he continues to impress out on loan.

A number of Rangers fans have expressed their hope on Twitter that Greg Docherty will be recalled from his loan spell in January after he took to social media to celebrate a dramatic victory.
The Gers-owned midfielder played a key role as Shrewsbury came from behind to win their latest League One clash. After falling behind, it was Docherty who helped inspire the turnaround.
The 22-year-old’s corner was nodded back across goal to allow Luke Waterfall to equalise shortly before the hour-mark. And it was the Rangers ace who provided the assist for the winning goal, which also came from Waterfall.
Unsurprisingly, Docherty took to social media to comment on the win – which was his adopted side’s second in three games – and his message prompted a number of the Ibrox faithful to respond.

Several Rangers fans suggested that they hope to see the £650,000 signing – fee reported by the Daily Record – back in Steven Gerrard’s squad much sooner than currently expected.
He is Shrewsbury’s joint top goalscorer in the league, and no player in the squad has provided more assists than he has either. And that is why so many Gers supporters are keen to see the midfielder come back during the January window rather than in the summer.

Here is Docherty’s tweet as well as some of the responses…
