Is it time Rangers recalled Glenn Middleton?
Rangers youngster Glenn Middleton has lost his first team role in 2019.
He is doing his best to catch Steven Gerrard’s eye.
The 19-year-old scored an impressive brace for Rangers’ under-20s this week in a win over Hibernian.
One was an eye catching effort from the edge of the box where he cut back in on his left foot and curled the ball into the top corner.
Middleton, 19, was impressive in pre-season and in the first half of the campaign, but has fallen out of favour recently.
Rangers perhaps could have done with him during their miserable month of March where they failed to win any of their five matches.
His form for the under-20s shows he deserves a recall before the end of the campaign.
