Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers had Tottenham Hotspur’s Dominic Ball on loan last season.

Glasgow Rangers fans have expressed their disappointment on Twitter, after Dominic Ball announced that he was looking forward to going on Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-season tour of Australia.
Ball spent last season on loan at Ibrox, and he helped Rangers earn promotion back to the top tier.
Rangers had hoped to do a deal with Spurs to bring him back to Glasgow, but Mauricio Pochetitno has been keen to take a closer look at the youngster.
Tottenham are developing a reputation as a side that are willing to give their most promising youngsters first-team chances, and Ball’s opportunity will come over pre-season.

The 20-year-old defender is yet to make his Premier League debut for Tottenham, and he appears excited to be travelling on tour with Pochettino’s men.
Rangers fans, however, were not happy with the message – as most of them are still hoping he comes back to Ibrox.
Mark Warburton has previously suggested that he would be keen to reunite with Ball at Rangers, and it remains to be seen whether Spurs will sanction a deal later on in the transfer window.
Rangers’ season begins at the start of next month, with a match against Hamilton.
