The Ibrox faithful were delighted to see former Glasgow Rangers youngster Billy Gilmour make his Premier League debut.

Charlie Adam has joined the host of Rangers fans sending messages of support to Billy Gilmour after the former Gers youngster was given the chance to make his Premier League debut at the weekend.
The Ibrox faithful have continued to follow Gilmour’s career closely following his 2017 move to Stamford Bridge from the Scottish Premiership side.
It appeared inevitable that the 18-year-old would break into the first-team at some stage. He enjoyed a lot of success in the Blues’ youth ranks and Frank Lampard handed him a senior debut during pre-season.
He was included on the bench for Saturday’s clash with Sheffield United, and came on with six minutes remaining as Chelsea led 2-1 against the Blades.

Unfortunately for Lampard’s men, the visitors would find a late equaliser. But Gilmour gave the supporters something to smile about with his first-team bow.
Whoscored.com shows that he completed five of the seven passes that he attempted, while he also went on one successful dribble during his short spell on the pitch.
Unsurprisingly, Gilmour took to social media to express his delight at making his senior debut for the Europa League winners, while also admitting how disappointing the result was.

And in response, plenty of Rangers fans sent their congratulations to the teenager. Former Ibrox star Adam also reached out to the midfielder with his own message of support.
