Glasgow Rangers midfielder Josh Windass has been linked with moves away from Ibrox, but new Gers manager Steven Gerrard reportedly wants him to stay.

Rangers fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to new Ibrox manager Steven Gerrard’s reported decision to keep Josh Windass at the club.

According to The Daily Record, new Rangers manager Gerrard does not want Windass to leave the Scottish Premiership club in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that the Liverpool legend spoke to the midfielder face-to-face in Dubai last month, and urged him to remain at the Gers for the 2018-19 campaign.

Windass scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in 30 Scottish Premiership appearances for Rangers this past season, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

According to The Scottish Sun, Premier League duo Cardiff City and Burnley want to secure the services of the 24-year-old former Accrington Stanley star in the summer transfer window on a £3 million deal.

Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to new manager Gerrard’s reported decision to keep Windass at the club, and have also shared their opinion on HITC Sport.
