Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to manager Steven Gerrard’s comments about goalkeeper Allan McGregor.
Gerrard has told The Scottish Sun that he wants McGregor to be at Rangers next season.
The Liverpool legend told The Scottish Sun: “Allan’s situation is pretty self-explanatory. If he plays a certain amount of games another year’s contract kicks in.
“He’s in a good place, he’s in good form and we expect him to be here next year. That’s never been in doubt.”
McGregor is in his second spell at Rangers, having returned to the Gers in the summer of 2018 after leaving Hull City at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
The Scotsman has established himself as the undisputed first-choice goalkeeper for the Gers.

Meanwhile, David Provan has suggested in The Scottish Sun that Celtic manager Neil Lennon is under more pressure than Rangers boss Steven Gerrard this season.
The Celtic legend does not agree with suggestions that Gerrard has more pressure to win the Scottish Premiership title than Lennon.
The Hoops are chasing their ninth league title in a row, while the Gers are aiming to push their bitter Old Firm rivals all the way in the race.
Provan wrote in The Scottish Sun: “I had to laugh at suggestions Neil Lennon and Steven Gerrard are under the same pressure to win the league. Yeah, with nine in a row at stake they’ll both be feeling the heat. But Gerrard won’t face half the pressure coming Lennon’s way.”
