Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Southampton-owned midfielder Steven Davis against Aberdeen at Ibrox at the weekend.
Davis, signed on loan from Southampton in the Premier League in the January transfer window until the end of the season, was in action for Rangers in their Scottish Premiership game against Aberdeen at home on Sunday afternoon.
The 34-year-old midfielder started the match and played for 84 minutes, as Steven Gerrard’s side won 2-0.
The Northern Ireland international played well, showed some good touches and passed the ball well.
The former Aston Villa and Fulham midfielder did not start his second spell at Rangers strongly, but the 34-year-old has done well in recent weeks and has established himself as an important player in Gerrard’s team.
According to WhoScored, Davis has made eight starts and four substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers.
Rangers fans were pleased with the performance of Southampton-owned Davis against Aberdeen and have praised him on Twitter.
