Rangers fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking Sir David Murray with investment in the Ibrox club.
According to The Express, Murray is considering making a shock move to invest in Scottish Premiership giants Rangers again.
The 66-year-old stepped down from his role as the Gers in 2011 and sold his shares at the Glasgow giants to Craig Whyte for £1, according to the report.
Current Rangers chairman Dave King has worked with Murray at Rangers before, but he may be reluctant to allow the 66-year-old to make a return to the Ibrox club, claims the report.
