Rangers picked up a draw in today’s Old Firm derby, drawing 1-1 away at rivals Celtic.

The Gers have already wrapped up the title, but Celtic chose not to give them a guard of honour on Old Firm derby day.

Celtic took a first-half lead as Mohamed Elyounoussi opened the scoring, but Alfredo Morelos finally ended his Old Firm drought by scoring the equaliser before half time.

Neither side could find a winner in the second half, with the penultimate league meeting between the two sides ending in a draw.

Rangers did throw on an attacking substitute in the second half though, as winger Scott Wright was introduced on 76 minutes.

The winger, snapped up from Aberdeen on deadline day having already penned a pre-contract agreement with the Gers.

He is yet to really get going at Rangers in terms of consistent playing time, but he certainly did enough to impress fans today.

Some called Wright ‘class’ and ‘brilliant’, feeling that he made much more of an impact on the game than Joe Aribo did.

Others suggested that Wright should now be told that he is starting every game for the rest of the season, believing it’s time he got his chance.
