Rangers are said to be taking a new approach in their attempts to bring the winger to Ibrox.

Jurgen Klopp has so far refused to budge on letting the player leave on a temporary basis, with the Reds said to value the player at a whopping £7m.
That’s a lot of money for Rangers and so puts them at a disadvantage when trying to secure his signing.
However, The Record say that they are now hoping to get more creative with how they approach the transfer and will look to offer the Anfield club a different deal structure that could see the winger arrive at Ibrox on a permanent basis.
It’s also said that the winger is seriously keen on a move and is willing to ‘down tools’ to force through a return to Glasgow, where he enjoyed a successful loan spell last season.
Clearly there appears to be a long way to go before Kent is on his way north again, but it’s a more positive update for supporters than simply thinking any hope of landing the player is dead in the water.
The reported £7m valuation is steep though and considering the Gers arguably have more urgent areas in the team needing strengthen, chiefly at left-back, is it a fee that the club can justify paying?

Rangers may consider the fact he doesn’t get a game for Liverpool at senior level, apparently had no suitors in England and wants to play at Ibrox as reasons why they can hold out for a potentially cheaper deal.
Supporters have varying thoughts on it and this lot took to Twitter over the last 24 hours to share their thoughts…
