Fans of Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are happy to see the back of the 32-year-old.

Rangers fans haven’t reacted well to Russell Martin’s latest comments.
Speaking to The Argus on Tuesday, Martin, who returned to parent club Norwich City this month following a forgettable half-season loan at Rangers, said that the “club was a bit all over the place” when he arrived in January and suggested that the lack of stability was among the reasons for his poor form in Glasgow.
The 32-year-old also added that it was a case of “wrong place, wrong time” for him in regards to his short-term stint with the Gers.
But fans of the Ibrox club have suggested that Martin should take responsibility for his performances and not blame outside influences.

Fortunately for the Gers, Martin has returned to English football and supporters will be hoping that new boss Steven Gerrard and Director of Football Mark Allen sign some top-drawer central defenders this summer.
Martin Skrtel doesn’t look like he’ll be at Ibrox any time soon, but thankfully there are plenty of other established and experienced centre-backs out there.
