Fans of Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers don’t seem bothered about the latest rumour about David Bates.

Rangers fans have reacted on Twitter to speculation about David Bates.
According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers and Bates have reached an impasse in contract negotiations.
The 21-year-old defender is out of contract at Ibrox at the end of this season, after joining the club on a development deal in January 2017.
But the young centre-back has gone on to establish himself as a very big player in the Gers’ first team and keeping him in Glasgow would be a major boost – if it happens.

The talk of stalled contract negotations isn’t promising, and here is how Rangers supporters reacted to the rumour.
Rangers need a centre-half they can rely on and Bates – currently injured – certainly looks like he might be one.
Bruno Alves has been a bit of a flop it must be said, with a lack of form and fitness meaning that it’s been a pretty underwhelming first season at Ibrox, while Fabio Cardoso is very hit and miss.
Russell Martin has looked a good signing, but the Norwich City-owned stalwart is only on loan and time will tell whether Graeme Murty can make it permanent this summer.
