Glasgow Rangers midfielder Graham Dorrans has endured a miserable time with injuries since arriving at Ibrox.

A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Graham Dorrans’ situation amid reports from the Daily Record that the Gers are now fearing that his ankle injury is set to keep him out for months rather than weeks.
Dorrans has not been able to catch a break since making the move to Ibrox last summer. Initially, the midfielder made a fantastic start following his move, scoring twice on his debut and taking his tally to five by mid-October.
However, an injury sustained in Pedro Caixinha’s final game in charge saw Dorrans miss around five months. A run in the team late on in the campaign suggested that the 31-year-old may have perhaps returned too early as he struggled to recapture his previous form.
Unfortunately for Dorrans, he sustained yet another injury in pre-season and the Record is now reporting that tests overseen by a specialist suggest that he may be missing for months rather than weeks.

It is a massive blow for Dorrans who appeared to be the marquee signing last summer and initially relished that particular role at the start of last season. Unfortunately, the fans now believe that the former Premier League star’s career at Ibrox is largely finished.
Some supporters have actually suggested that Rangers should look to agree to pay up Dorrans’ contract as they have their doubts that he will be able to force his way back into the side having struggled so much in recent months.

There is plenty of support for the midfielder, but it appears that many are writing off the idea of Dorrans ever turning his Rangers career around.
