The Rangers striker was brought to Ibrox by Steven Gerrard’s predecessor-but-one.

Rangers fans are reacting to reports Alfredo Morelos could quit to join the manager who brought him to Ibrox.
Morelos was undoubtedly the best signing Pedro Caixinha made during his ill-fated spell at Rangers, for whom the striker has gone on to score 48 goals in 91 games since his £1million transfer.
And according to The Daily Record, Caixinha wants to reunite with Morelos at Cruz Azul, and continue a lavish spending spree that has seen the Mexican side shell out £22m on three players alone within the past year.
But while some of a Rangers persuasion are warning their former boss he will have to spend even bigger for Morelos, many simply aren’t buying the claim.
This is what they’re saying on Twitter…
Caixinha spent just seven months in charge of Rangers and joined Cruz Azul shortly after his sacking in late 2017.
The Portuguese has since led his side to the 2018 Copa MX: Apertura, and is targeting the league title this coming campaign.
