Rangers fans are reacting to reports Ryan Jack is waiting to learn the extent of a foot injury sustained during Sunday’s Scottish Cup quarter-final draw with Aberdeen.

According to the Glasgow Evening Times, Jack has been given a protective boot to wear following a check-up on Monday.

The 27-year-old has established himself as a key member of the Rangers midfield under Steven Gerrard’s leadership.

And many of a Rangers persuasion would be gutted to lose him. This is what they’re saying about the rumour – including which Ibrox players they’d like to replace him should the worst indeed happen…

Rangers travel to Hibernian on Friday for the first of five difficult-looking fixtures within the space of a month.

Gerrard’s men host Aberdeen the following Tuesday, before games against Kilmarnock, Celtic and Heart of Midlothian.
