The Rangers manager, Steven Gerrard, brought the defender to Ibrox last August.

Rangers could have Joe Worrall prised away by a former Ibrox nemesis this month, according to the Daily Record.
It is being claimed that Martin O’Neill – the newly-appointed Nottingham Forest manager and one-time boss of Rangers’ Glasgow rivals, Celtic – may recall the centre-back, who signed for Steven Gerrard’s side on a season-long loan in August.
But Forest will reportedly have to ‘stump up cash’ to do so, as part of the initial agreement they struck with Rangers.
Worrall, a lifelong Nottingham Forest supporter, has played 17 times since his move to Ibrox – although the jury is still out as far as many Rangers fans are concerned.
This is what they’re saying about those latest reports on the 22-year-old’s future…
O’Neill spent five years in charge of Celtic, in which time he won three Premiership titles and four domestic cups.
Rangers and Celtic are currently neck-and-neck at the top of the standings, prompting both sides to strengthen their squads in the January transfer window.
