Former Celtic player David Moyes had emerged as a shock candidate to replace Pedro Caixinha at Rangers – but appears to be heading to West Ham instead.

The days of David Moyes at the top level of English football looked to have come to an end when his Sunderland side were relegated with barely a strained whimper last season.
A matter of days later, Moyes was gone, a job that was supposed to rebuild the Scot’s managerial career only serving to exacerbate the argument that he was nothing more than a busted flush, yesterday’s man.
You can imagine how the majority of West Ham fans reacted to the reports that Slaven Bilic would be put out of his misery at the London Stadium – and replaced by a man who looked a shadow of his formerly aggressive, tenacious self during dreadful spells at Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland.

Though there is one fanbase who seem delighted at the prospect of Moyes being handed another chance in Premier League football with West Ham.
After all, thanks to his allegiance to Old Firm rivals Celtic, his less than upbeat attitude and his withering reputation, Moyes was hardly the most popular choice to take over at Scottish giants Rangers.
The 54-year-old had emerged as a shock candidate to replace Pedro Caixinha at Ibrox, the odds tumbling just a few days ago, per the Scottish Sun. In the eyes of most Rangers supporters, however, their side has dodged a bullet.
