Rangers beat Hearts 2-1 at Tynecastle on Sunday afternoon.

Rangers have moved to the summit of the Scottish Premiership after beating Hearts 2-1 in a huge victory at Tynecastle on Sunday afternoon.
The Gers were back in domestic action on Sunday as they travelled to Edinburgh to take on Hearts, just days after scrapping their way to a well-earned 0-0 Europa League draw with Villarreal.
Boss Steven Gerrard made four changes to his side after that 0-0 draw, but Rangers fell behind in the first half when Gareth McAuley put Marcus Godinho’s cross into his own net to give the hosts a 1-0 lead.
However, Rangers fought back before the break, with Connor Goldson equalising, and red-hot striker Alfredo Morelos was again the saviour as he scored yet again to make it 2-1.
Rangers almost cost themselves points again as Scott Arfield was sent off for a bizarre challenge on goalkeeper Zdenek Zlamal, but Gerrard’s men held out and claimed all three points to go top of the table.

It may have been a great day for Rangers, but fans weren’t necessarily impressed with everybody in action, as midfielder Ovie Ejaria was slated by Gers fans on Twitter.
The Liverpool loanee struggled in midfield, and was branded a ‘waste of a jersey’, with fans calling him ‘invisible’ and ‘rotten’, as many felt that the game passed him by in an ‘awful’ performance.
