Rangers aren’t expected to do much business this month, but one interesting name has emerged as a potential signing.
The Gers are 21 points clear at the top of the table, and Steven Gerrard doesn’t really need much more adding to his squad in order to get over the line.
Yet with Jordan Jones out of favour and Brandon Barker a bit-part player, another winger could be a smart addition for Gerrard, to offer some depth behind Ryan Kent, Kemar Roofe and Ianis Hagi.
On Monday, Sky Sports reported that Rangers are looking to sign Aberdeen winger Scott Wright, with the rumours seemingly coming out of nowhere.
Wright is out of contract at the end of the season, meaning he could sign a pre-contract agreement with Rangers this month before arriving at Ibrox in the summer.
Still, Rangers could just pursue a deal this month, and Wright has shown during his time at Aberdeen that he can be a skilful and pacey threat in the final third.

The 23-year-old could be a bargain addition for Rangers, adding a homegrown option for the Europa League whilst also raiding a rival in the Dons.
Rangers fans have been taking to Twitter to react to the rumours, with some feeling that he has real potential and would be a much better squad option than Barker or Jones.
Others aren’t so convinced, believing he needs to work on his end product and is a ‘weird’ target, noting that he wouldn’t exactly be a top priority, but most trust Gerrard’s verdict.
