Rangers fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the Ibrox club’s decision to hand Alfredo Morelos a new contract.
As announced on Rangers’ official website on Saturday night, the Gers have tied down Morelos to a long-term contract.
The Colombian striker has extended his stay at the Ibrox club until 2022, as announced on the Gers’ official website.
Morelos joined Rangers from Finnish side HJK Helsinki in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £1.5 million.
The 22-year-old striker scored 18 goals for Rangers last season and was one of the best players for the Gers.
The youngster has been playing well for Steven Gerrard’s side so far this campaign, and the former Independiente Medellin striker will hope to score against Celtic at Celtic Park in the Old Firm derby on Sunday afternoon.
