Rangers reportedly want striker Moussa Konate at Ibrox.

Rangers have been busy in the transfer market this summer, but they may still be one more addition to Steven Gerrard’s squad within the next few days.
The Gers are heading towards the transfer deadline with most of their business done, as Filip Helander, George Edmundson, Steven Davis, Andy King, Joe Aribo, Brandon Barker, Jordan Jones, Sheyi Ojo, Jake Hastie and Greg Stewart have all signed.
However, Rangers have let a number of strikers leave this summer, with Kyle Lafferty, Ryan Hardie, Andrew Dallas and Zak Rudden all departing, and only the latter was a loan exit.
Now, reports in France are claiming Rangers want Amiens striker Moussa Konate, with local newspaper Courrier Picard reporting that the Gers are targeting a late move for him.
National newspaper L’Equipe then backed up the reports, claiming Rangers are ready to pay around £9million for the Senegal international in a strange, unexpected rumour.
That both local and national press in France are reporting Rangers’ interest is fascinating, and targeting the 26-year-old – who has scored 20 times in Ligue 1 in his two seasons with Amiens – poses major questions.

Rangers will be hoping to keep Alfredo Morelos, but a big-money move for another striker has left some supporters scared that Colombian talisman Morelos will be leaving Ibrox.
Some feel that the £9m fee is ‘excessive’ and rumours about Konate signing are prompting fear that Morelos is going, with some feeling that the speedy striker isn’t good enough to replace him.
Others appreciate that Konate is talented, but just don’t want Morelos to leave at all – and can’t see how Konate would be targeted unless Morelos is being lined up for a move…
