Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the Ibrox club with a move for Max Lowe, who spent this season on loan at Aberdeen from Derby County.
According to The Daily Record, Rangers are interested in signing Lowe from Derby in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has made contact with his former England international teammate and current Derby manager Frank Lampard regarding securing the services of the 22-year-old on loan for the 2019-20 campaign.
The former England Under-20 international, who can operate as a left-back or as a midfielder, spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Rangers’ Scottish Premiership rivals Aberdeen from Derby.
According to WhoScored, Lowe made 31 starts and two substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Aberdeen this season, scoring two goals in the process.
The youngster also played three times in the Scottish League Cup and featured in four Scottish Cup games for Aberdeen, according to WhoScored.
