Glasgow Rangers fans have identified one manager they’d like to see at Ibrox.

Some Rangers fans on Twitter have expressed an interest in seeing Mark Hughes become the Gers’ next long-term manager.
The 54-year-old is currently out of the job after being sacked by Stoke City on Saturday following a shock FA Cup exit at Coventry City.
Rangers have Graeme Murty as manager until the end of the season after failing to hire a long-term successor to Pedro Caixinha, who was sacked in October.

But the Ibrox club’s hierarchy will already be scouting men to take over from Murty in the summer and some fans of the Glasgow giants wouldn’t be against the idea of Hughes.
The Welshman has managed five different Premier League clubs and Rangers could probably do a lot worse than Hughes it has to be said.

If the Gers are to stop Celtic from winning 10 Premiership titles in a row then perhaps someone with an abundance of Premier League experience is a positive, given how former Swansea City and Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has done in Scotland.
That being said, there is a chance that Rangers won’t hire anyone if Murty has a successful second half to the season.
