Kenny Miller came back to haunt Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers on Sunday.

It seems like absence makes the heart grow fonder for Rangers fans.
Rangers were held to a 1-1 draw by 10-man Dundee at Dens Park on Sunday, with a certain Kenny Miller coming back to haunt the Gers.
Miller capitalised on a defensive mix-up involving Connor Goldson to open the scoring within nine minutes of facing his former club yesterday.
In doing so, the 38-year-old made it six goals from his last four Premiership games – a remarkable record when you consider his age.
Rangers need a third striker in January amid suggestions that Umar Sadiq will return to loan club Roma after struggling in a big way at Ibrox, leaving Alfredo Morelos and Kyle Lafferty as Steven Gerrard’s only goalscoring options up front.
And some fans of the Ibrox club would love to see the evergreen striker- who scored a hat-trick last week – return to Glasgow next month.

Is a return likely? Probably not, no. Miller and exiled left-back Lee Wallace were suspended by Rangers back in April for subjecting then-manager Graeme Murty to a verbal tirade following a Scottish Cup semi-final defeat by Celtic.
Miller, who turns 39 this month, wound up leaving the club on a Bosman in June. Politics aside, he could do a very good job for the Gers. He is a proven goalscorer in the Premiership and patently still has an appetite for the competition.
As far as third-choice strikers go, Gerrard could do a lot worse than re-signing him on a six-month contract, but it’s likely that the Rangers boss will want long-term options.
