Glasgow Rangers manager Graeme Murty says that Ibrox striker Kenny Miller could return to action for the Gers next week.
Miller, who is in his third spell at Rangers at the moment, has been on the sidelines since December 13 when he suffered an injury.
Rangers boss Murty has suggested that the Gers striker could be involved in the match against Thistle on Tuesday evening.
“Kenny Miller took part in full training and will be considered for selection from the start of next week,” Murty told Rangers’ official website.
Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Murty’s comments about Miller, with most suggesting that the 38-year-old former Celtic and Derby County striker should not be part of the Ibrox club’s starting lineup.
Miller is a senior player in the current Rangers team, having returned to Ibrox in the summer of 2014, and his experience cannot be undermined.
However, the Scotsman has not been in great form this season, and manager Murty should not bring the striker start into the Gers’ starting lineup.
The Gers will face Hibernian at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
