According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has identified Roofe as a replacement for Alfredo Morelos should the Colombia international striker leave the Gers in the summer transfer window.
Leeds reportedly want £5 million as transfer fee for the 26-year-old striker, who is claimed to be earning £10,000 per week as salary.
