Jon Flanagan was in action for Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers at Ibrox.
Rangers star James Tavernier celebrates with Jon Flanagan
Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Jon Flanagan against FC Midtjylland at Ibrox on Thursday evening.
Flanagan was in action for Rangers in the second leg of their Europa League Qualifying Third Round tie against Midtjylland at Ibrox.
The 26-year-old former Liverpool defender was deployed at left-back, as the Gers won 3-1 to progress to the playoff round 7-3 on aggregate.
The Englishman did not have a good game on a personal level and was at fault for the goal that Midtjylland scored.
Flanagan’s overall performance was far from impressive, and Rangers fans were not impressed and have urged manager Gerrard to sign a left-back in the summer transfer window.
Below are some of the best comments:

Rangers have a very good squad and are stronger this season than they were during the 2018-19 campaign, but the left-back is a position that the Gers need to improve on.
Gerrard has to find a new left-back in the summer transfer window, but time is running out.
