Rangers fans have praised Nottingham Forest-owned central defender Joe Worrall on Twitter for his performance against Aberdeen on Sunday afternoon.
Worrall, who joined Rangers on loan from Forest in the Championship in England in the summer of 2018, featured for the Ibrox club against Aberdeen away from home in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals this afternoon.
The 22-year-old central defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the tie ended in 1-1 draw.
Sam Cosgrove put the home team in the lead from the penalty spot after just 11 minutes, and Worrall scored the equaliser just four minutes into the second half.
So far this season, the youngster has made 16 starts and two substitute appearances in the Championship for Forest so far this season, according to WhoScored.
Steven Gerrard’s side, who will play a replay against Aberdeen at Ibrox later, are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 58 points from 28 matches, eight points behind leaders and bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic.
Rangers fans were impressed with the performance of Worrall and have praised the young defender on Twitter.
