Joe Worrall has cast doubt on his long-term future at Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers.

Joe Worrall’s long-term future at Rangers isn’t looking all that rosy.
The 21-year-old defender has struggled to make a positive impression on Rangers fans since joining the Gers on a season-long loan from Nottingham Forest.
Supporters of the Ibrox side destroyed him for his performance in Saturday’s 2-0 win at St Mirren.
It remains to be seen if the Scottish Premiership side even want him on a long-term basis, but the same could perhaps be said for Worrall.
The young centre-back intimated on Sunday that he would be returning to Nottingham Forest, stating that his stint under Steven Gerrard is just ‘a loan for me’.
Here’s how some Rangers fans reacted to his comments:
It does seem only a matter of time before Gerrard reverts to using Nikola Katic instead of Worrall.
You need to consider the fact that the Gers haven’t been leaking goals with Worrall in central defence, but Katic alongside Connor Goldson is simply a better partnership.
Worrall is young and might develop into a top-drawer central defender one day, but for now he remains very raw.
