The Ibrox midfielder scored in a European win for Rangers.

Rangers have taken a big step towards progression past the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League after a 4-2 win away to FC Midtjylland on Thursday night.
Finding themselves 3-0 ahead in the match at one point, Steven Gerrard’s men had to overcome a spirited comeback from the home side, who pulled it back to 3-2 before the Gers once again gave themselves a comfortable cushion.
It was Alfredo Morelos, Joe Aribo, Nikola Katic and Scott Arfield who got themselves on the scoresheet for Gerrard’s side, with all four goals very well taken.
All told it was a superb European win and a professional performance in next week’s second leg at Ibrox should see them into the playoff round.
Aribo was a stand-out throughout the match. His ambitious midfield play gave his side real drive and at points Midtjylland couldn’t deal with his pace and combinations with other teammates such as Jordan Jones.
His goal was an obvious highlight too, taking the ball from Jones to after a counter-attack to fire home a classy low drive.

The former Charlton man, who arrived for just a compensation fee this summer, looks like one of the best bargain signings of the summer.
The early signs suggest he could go on to be a real force this season.
Some supporters were absolutely thrilled by his performance, taking to Twitter to share their thoughts…
