Rangers succumbed to a humiliating 5-1 defeat at home to Celtic this weekend, with Pedro Caixinha’s side second best throughout.

It was a result that shows just how far the Gers have to go before they can consistently challenge their fierce rivals at the top of the Scottish Premiership, and many of the players on show failed to deliver on the day.

It could be argued that only Kenny Miller performed anywhere near the level expected in this fixture, and that is because he is well aware of the Old Firm rivalry. The others have a lot of learning to do if they remain at Ibrox next season.

Defender James Tavernier was making his 40th appearance of the season and the 26-year-old struggled to get a handle on the match.
