Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Jake Hastie for Rotherham United at the weekend.

Hastie joined Rotherham in League One in England on loan from Steven Gerrard’s Rangers in the summer transfer window.

The 20-year-old winger joined Rangers only this summer on a free after agreeing a pre-contract agreement, but he failed to establish himself in the Gers’ first team.

According to The Rotherham Advertiser, Rangers had to pay Motherwell a compensation fee of £350,000 to secure the services of the 20-year-old.

The Scotland Under-21 international was in action for Rotherham against Doncaster Rovers away from home in League One in England on Saturday afternoon.

Hastie started out wide against Doncaster and was involved in the game very much, especially in the opening stages with his set-pieces.

The youngster opened the scoring in the 37th minute with a wonderful free kick, and later he also provided a brilliant cross.

It was a very positive performance from the 20-year-old, and Rangers fans were impressed, as the following posts on Twitter show.
