Rangers moved another step closer to an unbeaten season having won 3-0 against Livingston on Wednesday evening.

The Gers picked up a comfortable win as James Tavernier, Ryan Kent and Ianis Hagi all found the back of the net.

Rangers now move on to 99 points, and with just one game left, they can break the 100 points barrier by avoiding defeat at Ibrox against Aberdeen this weekend.

Avoiding defeat will also clinch an unbeaten league season for Rangers, but the focus will now just be on celebrating last night’s victory.

Rangers were comfortably the better side, and they had a number of standout performers in a convincing 3-0 win over Livi.

One of them was Hagi, who finished off the scoring by slotting home a right-footed strike from Cedric Itten’s cross.

Hagi has recently been linked with a move away from Ibrox, as Sport.ro in his native Romania claim that VfL Bochum, Sevilla and Lazio are all keen.

Rangers surely won’t let Hagi leave though, as Wednesday’s goal was his 21st goal contribution of the season; 13 goals and eight assists.

The 22-year-old may still have his best years ahead of him, and Rangers fans have been taking to Twitter to rave about his display against Livingston.

Many are urging Rangers not to sell Hagi this summer, believing that he will be their best player next season if he’s kept on.

Others think Hagi has silenced his doubters with another fine display, branding him ‘quality’ and ‘superb’ – especially in a deeper midfield role.
