Fans of Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are celebrating Greg Docherty’s goal on Twitter.

Rangers fans didn’t have much to celebrate this weekend.
The international break has halted club football for the time being, and Scotland’s demoralising 4-0 defeat by Belgium on Friday hardly threw up a lot of positives.
But fans of the Ibrox side have drawn some positivity in how one Rangers man is getting on during his loan away from Glasgow.
Greg Docherty, a £600,000 signing in January [Sky Sports], left the Gers to join Shrewsbury Town on loan this past summer, after being told by Steven Gerrard that he wouldn’t play regularly.
And he isn’t playing all too regularly for the League One side anymore either – but that could be about to change.
The Scottish midfielder was subbed into Saturday’s visit to Portsmouth on 73 minutes. On 74 minutes, it was 1-0 to Shrewsbury after Docherty himself opened the scoring.
Here’s how Rangers fans responded to his heroics:
The 21-year-old was dropped in the draw with Bristol Rovers last week, having started the five previous League One games, but this cameo might and should lead to more game time.
Town wound up drawing 1-1 with Pompey, meaning Docherty was not the match winner yesterday.
