Glasgow Rangers youngster Glenn Middleton continues to shine whenever he is involved with the Ibrox youngsters.

Several Rangers fans have suggested that Glenn Middleton deserves another go in the first-team after he was one of the standout performers for the Gers’ reserves in their latest win.
Graeme Murty’s men are on course to secure the reserve league title after thrashing Hamilton 4-1 on Tuesday. They go into the final game of the season in second place and level on points with third place Celtic. But with Hibernian done for the campaign, the Gers know that their fate is in their own hands.
It will be interesting to see whether Middleton is involved in that final game as there are some supporters who hope that he is given more opportunities in Steven Gerrard’s side before the summer.
It was his assist that allowed Rangers to open the scoring against Accies, and he scored the final goal as he produced a nice piece of skill on the edge of the box before finding the bottom corner.

Middleton has endured a challenging campaign. He looked to be established in the first-team as Gerrard gave him opportunities in some of the club’s most important fixtures. But more recently, he has found chances harder to come by.
However, he is certainly knocking on the door once again with some outstanding form for the reserves in recent weeks. The 19-year-old did come off the bench against Hearts at the weekend, and he is doing everything he can to make sure that that is not his last senior appearance of the season.
