The Rangers prospect is wanted by the Edinburgh club.

Hibs are traditionally seen as one of the Gers’ big rivals in Scotland, with no love lost between the two clubs, especially in the wake of the 2016 Scottish Cup Final.
Sending a player out on loan to Easter Road could be seen as something of an unusual choice, but in many ways it makes perfect sense for all parties.
Heckingbottom is certainly eager, telling BBC Scotland that talks are underway: “He is someone we’ve spoken to Rangers about and we’d be keen to do something.
“Rangers would, and Glenn, so hopefully we can get something done.
“It would be a loan, he is someone who Rangers value highly and if we can get him, we’ll do our bit in terms of pushing him and trying to develop him and he’d do his bit for us with his ability and qualities he can bring.”
Middleton started last season brightly, getting plenty of chances under manager Steven Gerrard. Since January though he’s barely been seen and he badly needs regular first-team action to progress further.
Still just 19, he has plenty of time to go out on loan and return to make an impression at Ibrox.
The Scottish Sun reported on Friday he also has the option of moving to Dutch side NEC Breda, but getting used to the Scottish Premiership could be better for his development.

That’s certainly a viewpoint that some Rangers fans share, with this lot taking to Twitter over the weekend to share their thoughts…
