Glasgow Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara played well for Finland on Thursday.
Glen Kamara of Rangers
Rangers fans have urged manager Steven Gerrard to play Glen Kamara further forward.
Fans of the Ibrox club were impressed with the performance of Kamara during Finland’s 1-0 win against Greece in the European Championship Qualifying – Group J on Thursday.
The 23-year-old started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, and the Rangers midfielder did well.
The Finland international played in a more forward position than he usually does for Rangers, and Gers fans want manager Gerrard to make similar use of them.
Below are some of the best comments:
Important player
Kamara has not been in great form so far this season, but there is no doubt that the 23-year-old is a very good midfielder.
With competition for places fierce in the Rangers midfield and with the signing of Joe Aribo, it may not be possible for Kamara to always play in the attacking midfield position.
Rangers are aiming to challenge bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title and also make an impact in the Europa League.
