Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Gareth McAuley against Motherwell at Ibrox.
McAuley featured for Rangers in their Scottish Premiership game against Motherwell at home on Sunday afternoon.
The 38-year-old central defender did not start the match, but the former West Bromwich Albion star came on as a substitute at half time.
The Northern Ireland international centre-back played well for the Gers, who won the game 7-1.
McAuley, who joined Rangers on a free transfer in the summer, looked assured and comfortable at the back and did not put a foot wrong.
Scott Arfield scored twice for Rangers and so did Eros Grezda, while James Tavernier (penalty), Alfredo Morelos and Glenn Middleton found the net once each.
Rangers are third in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 24 points from 12 matches, just two points behind leaders and Old Firm rivals Celtic.
Rangers fans were impressed with the performance of McAuley and have raved about him on Twitter.
